Networking Rule of 2

I'm a big fan of simple strategies. At this month's NetStorming event Julie Wickert shared this rule that is about as simple and powerful as it gets.

Your goal for any type of networking event should be to meet 2 people that you'd like to get to know better. After the networking event you will follow-up with these 2 people 2 times.

Is that great or what? I'm not sure who came up with the rule of two, or I would gladly give them credit as they certainly deserve it. 

Easy to remember, easy to implement. Try this simple tip the next time you're out connecting.
