People Don't Want To Retire Broke

posted on September 9, 2010

I have never met one person who said they want to retire broke, or they hope their kids get to go to college and have tens of thousands of student loan debt when they get out!  We've all heard it before, but it's true; people don't plan to fail, they fail to plan.

The biggest obstacle I usually have to get over with people is shame.  They are ashamed of how they have managed their finances and do not want anyone else to know the hole they have dug themselves into.  I have even had people tell me that they will sit down with me once they get their finances in order.....are you kidding me?? That could take months or even years.

I can not tell you the benefit of getting a financial review.  It maps out your finances, shows your financial independence number (the amount of money you will need to have at retirement), your debt freedom date, and how much you need to be saving on a monthly basis for your kids college fund.

The sooner you get a plan together the better off you will be.  Get a financial review today....it's free, and it will put you in a better position.
