Single Action Shooting

Looking for something totally different to do on the weekend…??  Looking to leave all the stresses of the 21^st century behind…??  Then strap on your six shooters…we’re going back in time to the old west and were going to do some shooting! 

Just a few miles out of Marble Falls is a western shooting range with an old west town and lots of cowboys and cowgirls!

The shooters go through a series of stages and shoot their pistols, long guns and shotguns.  It’s a timed event and some are out there to compete and some are out there purely for the social aspects of it.  There’s no question everyone has a blast (no pun intended!). 

What I found while I was out there is that I thought of nothing else but shooting and socializing.  If I had any stresses at all with everyday life, they were left at the gate.  It was fabulously fun!  The people are some of the nicest folks you could ever meet and were so helpful.  Even though it’s a competitive event, everyone was so willing to lend a hand and help each other. 

If someone wants to try it, but doesn’t have the guns to do so…the folks are very willing to share!
