How to succeed in the Insurance Industry

Its amazing to me how sales is more mental than physical but more amazing that we forget to sale ourselves. The people who fail in the insurance business sale the commodity and the ones who succeed sale the product. The commodity portion of this business is the Auto, Home, Life, etc...It is the necessary intagibles that you must purchase by law or obligation. The product portion of this business is the Agent. The Agent is the only tanigble part of the sale but yet we never mention the importance.  

The question is why? You live by price, you die by price...

My answer for Agents' change is you must Believe in yourself. For the first time in your life I want you to believe with all your might that you are  F.A.T.(Faithful, Available, and Teachable). Faithful to your company and their claims processing, Available to your clients, and Teachable to learn new laws in our industry while consistenly giving your clients valuable updates. Take action if your agent and start selling You. Otherwise, go back to your cave and join the Cavemen with their pet lizards.
