Austinites share their 2010 social media predictions

posted on December 27, 2009

At Austin's Social Media Breakfast earlier this month, 10 different people with expertise in the social Web took about 3 minutes each to tell a packed house what they thought would happen in social media in their field during the next 12 months.

Breakfast organizer Bryan Person of LiveWorld did a terrific job of organizing the event and corralling all the speakers;  I was fortunate enough to be asked to speak about social media in travel and tourism, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Afterwards, Bryan pulled together this very helpful Scribd document that discusses our insights plus additional links and background information.

I wanted to share it with you here, and if you can't see the box below, go to the original post on the Social Media Breakfast site to see it. Social Media Breakfast Austin: Predictions for Social Media in 2010
