10 Reasons Your Competition Hired a Business Coach

posted on December 29, 2009

It's no secret that Mac Brown watches videos to find out exactly what his competition (Alabama) is doing.  He wants to know if they have something he hasn't seen before.  He wants to know what makes them a winning team.

Your competition may have a "lucky charm" in their back pocket that you need to find out about; It's a business coach.  So why did your competitor hire a coach?

1. It’s the first of the year and they want to get a head start on you.

2. They want to be the Best of the Best.

3. They have come to terms with their shortcomings.

4. Your competition is frustrated with being average in production.

5. Three of their friends already use a business coach.

6. It’s what the high-achiever professional does at this stage in their career.

7. Self-Help books and courses haven’t done the trick.

8. Your competition wants accountability to keep them on a ramped-up path.

9. They thrive on the energy from coaching sessions.

10. They make more money now that they have a business coach.

Oops.. I found 5 more;

11. They actually have work-life-balance since they started listening to their coach.

12. Your competition quit procrastinating the hard decision to hire a coach.

13. They mustered the gusto to sell their boss on the idea of subsidizing it.

14. The pain of remaining average became greater than the pain of change.

15. Your competition THRIVES on being out front!

Coaching isn't for everyone.  But when a professional gets to the place where they realize they need that outside look at their swing, coacing can take them to levels of productivity they can never achieve on their own. I have an 18 question assessment that gives an objective view of ones strengths and weaknessess in time management. growthdynamic.com/images/stories/pdf/TimeAssessment.pdf

So if you find out your competition has hired a coach, you better get out the yellow pages (never use the yellow pages) and start asking around for someone who can sharpen you to be the best of the best!  Your competition did!
