About

I am a native Texan, born and raised in southeast Texas. I studied art and graphic design at Lamar University and the University of Houston, earning a degree in graphic design from Lamar University. Since moving to Austin in 1973, I have continued post graduate studies in web design, paralegal studies and web development software as well as real estate courses. Since 1988, I have been intensely involved in Austin real estate, first in the area of commercial real estate and secondly as a residential real estate agent. I became a licensed real estate agent in 1995. My experience in the commercial real estate field includes marketing, lease & contract preparation and administration and property management. My skills and knowledge base in the commercial real estate field as well as my extensive history of living and working in Austin, have greatly added to the services that I am able to provide to those in the residential market, whether they are buyers, sellers or investors. As a Senior Real Estate Specialist® and a Certified Negotiation Expert®, I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients to increase their profits and experience a positive transaction in the process.

Passions

My passions include learning as much as I can about my current profession and providing unparalleled personalized customer service! I have a passion for continuing education in real estate and using technology to better serve my clients in marketing their properties. I have been a life-long member of the United Methodist Church and devote time each week volunteering with their Communications Committee, maintaining their website. I am also an active member of United Methodist Women, a global mission outreach organization, serving as it's Social Action Chairperson.

Wish List

I am looking to connect with home buyers and sellers in the Austin market area and to be able to share my knowledge of the Austin market. As a Senior Real Estate Specialist® and a Certified Negotiation Expert®, I look forward to putting my skills to work for my clients.

LightTrac - App for More Than Just Realtors!

posted on January 11, 2012

The app called LightTrac is touted as an excellent one for realtors, but this is an app that many professions will find useful. It provides the direction of the sun at sunrise, sunset and at the exact time that you happen to be looking at the app. It uses GPS to determine your location and displays the sunrise as a yellow line, the sunset as a blue line and the current direction of the sun as a white line, all displayed over a satellite map of your location. Use the slide bar to move forward in time and see where the sun will be on any given day at any hour. Read more »
