Well it's that time of year where Thanksgiving is upon us!  We hope that you all get some rest.  I know it's been quite a stressful year with all this financial market thing causing the economy to be so uncertain.

 

For sure some of the things we can count on are the things that matter the most.  Our families and loved ones.  A cup of starbucks.  A day off to enjoy Thanksgiving.  The sunrise.  The sunset.

 

Whatever it is that makes your day a little special, we hope you find many of them over this holiday period (and beyond)!

 

We try to remember that every day we have our health, food, and a roof over our heads  (and Sandy and I have each other), is a day in paradise.

Well it looks like we’re going to be wet again this week here in Austin. I thought the rains were gone for the year, but I guess not. Good thing we fix cars and don’t predict the weather at Performance Motors! Sandy (my wife) would be telling I need to get out of the weather business. Well, whatever the weather does bring, I hope there’s an absence out there of multiple vehicles trying to take up the same space at the same time (more commonly known as car accidents) that could cause you commuting challenges.

 

Well enough about the weather. Why am I posting? To tell you about our Auto Repair Shop of course!   We’re a family owned auto repair shop you can trust. Sandy and I try to make sure we keep it simple and focus hard on being the best neighborhood auto repair shop. In short, that means we try to remember we’re here to help people with their cars and do the right things to take care of them. 

 

There’s no doubt we’re starting to head towards our consistent, hot & humid summer we have here in Austin. Well, this is also that time of year where we flip on our air conditioning in our cars and we sometimes find out that it’s puttering along not quite as good as it used to last year. That’s a sure sign it’s time to take a look and find out where the leak is and get it fixed before it stops working all together and leaves you sweaty and hot at just the wrong time!

 

Yes, indeed, now is definitely a great time to get your car air conditioning serviced before we start getting warm summer days and you wind up having to drive around for a few weeks in hit and miss hot weather before you have the time get to the shop. Hey, it happens to everyone!
